Eua is the next major island closest to Tongatapu, only a very short hop across on a flight with RealTonga. The island itself is very hilly and huge sections have been carved out over time, leaving some incredible natural rock formations. Li’angahuo ‘a Maui is perhaps the most iconic, a huge natural rock bridge with views down to the see on the other side.
These incredible formations are surrounded by deep green rainforests and are perfect for trekking as the best way to reach them. ‘Euas National Park hosts a number of well-kept trails that wind through a large part of the island and are great places to spot some of the unique wildlife of the region.
